Slight scuffing

Here's the slight scuffing - the seats had black canvas seatcovers over them though so are really well protected otherwise.

Steve

PS. Sorry no pics of the back of the seats at the moment - they're brown vinyl and unmarked. WIll try and get more pics up soon! Posted by Picasa

Seats

Here's a bigger pic of the seats for those interested in bidding - the white splotch is on the camera lens (honest).

Look further down for some other pics of the seats and cvan conversion etc.

Click the pic for larger view - Hope this helps! Posted by Picasa

New Years Morning

And Caz is a little hungover. I wish it were easier to put things in the right order in blogs but still... Posted by Picasa

On the tallness of Greg

Compared to my sister and his wife Posted by Picasa

Where I used to live

Here's my old room stripped bare of any trace of me... Now I have a house to fill! Posted by Picasa

Exhaustion

My Sis (Rach) and Florence collapsing on the sofa after watching Dr Who and a long days travel Posted by Picasa

Making pizzas

With Molly and FLo - and Caz getting them out of the oven. They're AWESOME when you cook them on the oven bottom (need to clean it out with a wire brush - the kind of oven cleaning I can handle) - closest thing to wood fired I've had!) Posted by Picasa

Going underground

THis is in the passage under the house that goes through to the garden - it was rainign (all the time, for months now) so we sheltered her to smoke... Like my own personal bus shelter! Posted by Picasa

At least the chimney was swept

Here's greg making fire - badly by the seem of it. More sensible than the first night where he dared me to inhale a lungful of coal smoke with the 'I'll do it if you do' line that just made it HAVE to happen... Enough benzene for life I recon. Posted by Picasa

Inga and wine

The empty glass to the left kinda says it all really - sleepy... Posted by Picasa

And it begins

THat's the reason for the whole mission in the background - proper ESSE range cooker, slow-cooking becons, we'd bought a load of stewing steak and oxtail in windermere so set about making a HUGE stew. Posted by Picasa

El Chef

Greg at the controls getting all the stock veg ready for the oxtail stew - in the foreground there's a few bottles of Karl's homebrewed Porter we used for the gravy. Posted by Picasa

Starting the slow cooking

Greg in his element - we then put this stew in the simmering oven overnight and ate it for lunch next day - and it RULED!!! Posted by Picasa

Bedroom

Looks a bit weird with the duvet all rolled up to look like a Dr Who monster or something - still it's a nice room, big too. Posted by Picasa

Garden and view

This is from the top floor view out of our bedroom - garden with the grey shed at the end is ours.

BRING ON SUMMER! Posted by Picasa

The view

Castle and the Bay - on a clear day (rare at the moment) you can see Black Coombe too - very nice. Posted by Picasa

What is it wiht the bedroom furniture?

I mean this is as ugly as the ohter one! Will be taking all this out so you notice the size of the room and the awesome view, not the ugly furniture asap Posted by Picasa

( Bleurgghhh )Guest Room

NICE hey - what lovely carpeting and amazing bedroom furniture - gonna rip out the cupboards asap (well - move one to under stairs and prob replace ugly 80's doors with a curtain/drape and then this room will be MUCH better. Posted by Picasa

Spare room at the back (before getting filled with Caz's stuff)

You actually can't get through the door anymore, nice view out the back though so maybe one day we'll clear up all our stuff (check on eBay for a HUGE sell off!) and make this into a study... Posted by Picasa

The loo/bath/shower

It's white, with horrid designs on the tiles... Posted by Picasa

Living room 2

More chimney sweepage - keep the blinds shut a lot of the time because a/ it's dark all the time, b/ it's been raining since November (November never ends these days!) c/ there's a road outside.

Come summer it will (hopefully) be a bit different... Posted by Picasa

Chim-Chimeney Chim-Chimeney

Arb boxes in the background from moving in, and that's Mr Chimney sweep sweeping the chimney - but not singing :-( Posted by Picasa

The church

Plain, pretty, 1668 - nice :-)

More about it herePosted by Picasa

When the ceremony goes on too long

Look out the window!!! There's sheep in the field behind - b'aaaahhhhhh bless! Posted by Picasa

A short aisle

That comes in sideways, but that's cool, I've always thought life should be approached from an unexpected abgle anyway... Posted by Picasa
